Youth Shooting Program

Ladies Shooting Program

Open to Women Only

Join us for a ladies-only class & fun shoot. Our courses are tailored for ladies who want to improve their confidence and competence with firearms in a fun, low-stress setting. We encourage participants to try a variety of firearms – pistols, rifles and shotguns - and test different shooting techniques to identify what works best for them instead of adopting a ‘one size fits all’ approach.

Tactical Rifle

Practical Competitive Shooting League Rifle Match

Ben Lomond hosts Tactical Rifle matches the first Saturday of every month. These matches are tailored to semi-auto rifles like the AR15 or similar, and conducted under a slightly modified PCSL ruleset. There will be close range paper targets, and 8 MOA steel out to 200 yards or 4 moa steel out to 400 yards, depending on the day. Project Appleseed

Project Appleseed Marksmanship Training 

Ben Lomond is hosting Project Appleseed events in May, June and August 2025.  This year Ben Lomond and the Apple Seed Organization are hosting three events.  A two day .22LR rifle marksmanship on May 10-11. a known distance high power rifle on June 28-29 and a one day pistol marksmanship clinic on August 9.  Each event teaches expert shooting skills and a bit of history of our national heritage.

International Defensive Pistol Association Competitive Shooting

IDPA (international Defensive Pistol Association) is an organization that has created a shooting sport that simulates self defense based scenarios in it’s stage designs. For more information, visit IDPA.com

Skeet, trap and 5 stand shoots available depending on the interests of those attending.  Open to members and non-members alike  Meets the 2nd & 4th Saturday each Month.

Steel Challenge

Condensed version of the USPSA Steel Challenge

Precision Rimfire Rifle Match

Monthly precision rimfire rifle match held on the 3rd Saturday of each month at the Silhouette Range.  A fun and challenging course of fire for members and non-members to participate.
